Installation and Compatibility
Uses the position of the tile centre or one of the grid index types provided by the VersaTile Data inputs to sample from the color/grayscale Input. The sample value is applied to the whole tile.
Sample By: Tile Position, Grid Index, Sub-Module Grid Index, Module Grid Index Choose whether to sample by Tile Position or one of the grid index types.
Maintain Square Ratio: False/True If True, the Non-Square Expansion settings of the VersaTile pattern and the sampled image are both taken into consideration in order to maintain a 1:1 ratio and avoid stretching or squashing.
Input Has Non-Square Expansion: False/True Set this to True if working with non-sqaure texture sizes and the input texture has Non-Square Expansion enabled.
Tiling: 0.0 - 10.0 (unclamped) The number of times the sampled image is tiled in the resulting output image.
Repeat Size: 1 - 16 (unclamped) The span of columns and rows over which the sampled image is repeated.
Power of 2 Compensation: False/True If True, the input map is assumed to be of a size that is the nearest power of 2 size that the Repeat Size will fit into with the sample grid being positioned in the top left. Otherwise the entire input map is sampled at positions defined by the Repeat Size. This guarantees predictable results for small input maps where each pixel is meant to represent a different tile color, provided it follows the above size rules.
Filtering Mode: Nearest, Bilinear The filtering mode used to sample the texture input.
Output Format: 8 Bits per Channel, 16 Bits per Channel, HDR Low Precision (16F), HDR High Precision (32F) Determines the bit depth of the output.
6x6 pattern stored in an 8x8 bitmap.
Result of the MT VT Sampler Color node with the previous image as its input. Sample By = Grid Index, Repeat Size = [6, 6], and Power of 2 Compensation = True.
